Spinnaker Park is the new advanced waterfront park accompanying Newport’s centrepiece lake, for public recreational activities on and off the water.

Spinnaker Park incorporates a launch area for non-motorised water craft such as boards and kayaks, as well as an innovative playground designed in collaboration with the Touched By Olivia Foundation to ensure children of all abilities can play together, including those with physical disabilities and spectrum disorders such as autism (as described by Stockland Developments).
Eureka Landscapes was contacted for the instalment of playground materials, hardscape and softscape works. The playground has been designed around a nautical theme, including a play ship, a coconut rope swing, climbing nets, slides and sand and water play activities. The park also incorporates a central plaza showcasing public art pieces as well as interactive water features which will be illuminated at night to create a spectacular display.
