Just 25km north of Brisbane’s CBD, the 1000-hectare award-winning North Lakes development has become home to around 20,000 people and includes retail, commercial and industrial precincts.
Eureka Landscapes Scope of Work
Eureka Landscapes’ skills are showcased in the ongoing project – softscapes, concreting, decks, boardwalks, hardscapes, structures, golf course surrounds, sports grounds, horticultural management and wetland construction to name a few. We’re particularly proud of our contribution to Miba Park, a project that required the contractor to build a 3-D model of some of the large concrete features so that we could understand the design requirements and develop an innovative construction method.
The Wetlands are integral to the overall storm water management for the estate. The challenge was to establish the landscape as quickly as possible in order to minimise the risk of severe erosion following heavy rain. Encouraging the re-growth of native sedges and plants was also important to the establishment process.
After 16 years at North Lakes we are extremely proud of the dedication and ongoing trust from Stockland to deliver all open spaces treatments, wetland planting, passive and active parklands, as well as entry statements and streetscapes.
Eureka Landscapes have constructed 98% of all streetscapes and parklands in the residential and industrial areas within this development.
